Biographical History

Arthur Kaufman was born in San Francisco June 10, 1919. He served in the United States Air Force during World War II as a pilot in the Aleutian Islands. After WWII, he attended the University of Geneva and learned to speak fluent French. Kaufman was a bachelor and spent most of his life in the military. He died in the Veterans Home (for military) of California in Yountville, September 1989 from Lou Gehrig's disease.
