Biographical History

Architect.

William Hull Botsford was born in Binghamton, New York and attended school in Elmira. He worked in architectural offices for several years and then studied architecture at Cornell University, graduating in 1909. He designed depots for the Delaware, Lackawanna and Western Railroad in New Jersey and New York, and designed the concrete sections of the railroad bridge over Tunkhannock Creek at Nicholson, Pennsylvania. He died at the age of 26 in the Titanic disaster.
