Biographical History

The John Keats Bicentennial Conference was held at Harvard University on September 7-9 of 1995. Participating panelists and speakers included the poets Philip Levine, Derek Walcott, Andrew Motion, and dozens of other poets and scholars. Principal sponsors of the event included the Keats-Shelley Association, the National Endowment for the Humanities, the Carl and Lily Pforzheimer Foundation, the Acriel Foundation, and the Houghton Library.
