Political scientist.
Richard Elliot Neustadt (b. 1919), educator, political scientist, and government consultant, was a professor of government at Columbia University from 1954 to 1964) and at the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University from 1965 to 1975. Neustadt is the author of Presidential Power (1960). He was a consultant to the President from 1961 to 1966; to the Bureau of the Budget from 1961 to 1970; and to the Atomic Energy Commission from 1962 to 1968.
