Romney was born July 3, 1896 in Colonia Juárez, Chihuahua. He married Anna Lois Bradford in 1923. However, he later married Helen Hackett Brown in 1964. Vernon Romney was not only a lawyer but also an active Republican and member of the Utah Republican State Executive Committee. From 1936 to 1962 he was delegate to the Republican National Convention from Utah. Romney immersed himself within the political world and was also a member of the American Bar Association. Vernon Romney died in January 9, 1976 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
