Biographical History

Billy Wentworth was a Federal politician for the Liberal Party of Australia until he resigned in 1977. He was Minister for Social Services and Aboriginal Affairs for the period of 1968-1972. He was known as a Party critic and a keen advocate of Aboriginal land rights.
