Biographical History

Appointed as cornet of Maj. Sheldon's troop of light horse in the 5th regiment of horse, Capt. Moses Seymour's brigade, May 1778, probably in Connecticut. Cornet was then a rank between sergeant and lieutenant. After the war, Frisbie is found in New York and Vermont.
