Biographical History

Robert Eunson graduated from Northern Arizona University in 1936 when the school was still known as Arizona State Teachers College. He later began a career in journalism that lead to his being the vice president and assistant general manager of The Associated Press. This job allowed him to be involved as a reporter in World War II, the Korean War and the Vietnam War. During his time spent overseas he created several scrapbooks that contain stories he wrote from various parts of the world, including one about the Arizona Bushmasters. Along with these scrapbooks, his works include many articles and books. His collection of materials was donated to Cline Library Special Collections and Archives after his death in 1975 by his wife, Katherine Eunson.
