Co-founder, in 1932 of National Bankruptcy Conference and member, 1932-1960; assisted in drafting amendments to Nat. Bankr. Act of 1898. Member, A.B.A., Atlantic Union Comm. Served as Capt., U.S. Army, 1917-1919. Wartime Gov't serv., 1942-1945. Author: Hornbook on Bankruptcy, 1956; articles in law reviews and other professional journals.
