Biographical History

Nurse and Christian worker; born Beverly Pannell in Sturgis, Michigan, 1931; came to Chicago in 1948 where she was educated as a nurse and met and married Leroy Yates; was active as a layperson in Christian ministry to women in the Chicago area, particularly as one of the founders of the Chicagoland Christian Women's Conference.
