Biographical History

The Kingsbridge Heights Jewish Center was established in 1924 and was a vibrant Orthodox synagogue in the Kingsbridge section of Bronx, N.Y. for many decades. For over 50 years of its nearly 75 year history, the synagogue was served by three rabbis, Rabbi Israel Miller, Rabbi Abraham Kupchick, and Rabbi Nathan Bamberger. The synagogue closed in 1999.
