Biographical History

During the Civil War, Henry Oldham Robertson served in Company I of the 5th Texas Regiment (Hood’s Brigade) in the Confederate Army. After being wounded at the Battle of Gettysburg, Robertson was kept as a prisoner of war at the Hammond General Hospital in Point Lookout, Maryland. In April 1864, he was transferred to Chimborazo Hospital in Richmond, Virginia, before being released several months later.
