Biographical History
Women's branch of the Tobacco Valley Livestock Association.
The Tobacco Valley Cowbelles Association was organized in Sept. 1957 with twenty-one members who met monthly. It was an auxiliary of Tobacco Valley Livestock Association, a branch of the Montana Stockgrowers Association (MSA). In addition to offering social activities for members, the group was active in the promotion of the use of beef products. This was accomplished by means of beef cook-offs, fair advertising booths, displays of beef products, and publication of a cookbook.
