Biographical History

Iroquois Door Company was organized in 1904 as a branch of the Cream City Sash & Door Company of Milwaukee. It operated as a distributor of wholesale building products. Iroquois Millwork Corporation, Albany, N.Y., was added in 1920, as a producer and distributor of doors, windows and wood molding. In 1982, the companies were merged to form Iroquois Industries, headed by Thomas E. Thayer and Alan E. Boyce, general partners in Western Capital Group. The Buffalo warehouses were sold in 1986.
