Biographical History
Robert S. Marx (1889-1960) graduated from the Cincinnati Law College in 1909 and served in Europe during World War I. After the war, he was a founder of the Disabled American Veterans. Marx also served on the Superior Court of Ohio from 1919 to 1925 and participated in the Cox- Roosevelt presidential campaign in 1920. Marx' other interests included no-fault insurance, traveling and sports (weight training, wrestling and gymnastics). His father, William S. Marx, was president of the Cincinnati Board of Public Safety.
