Wilbur Macey Stone was a mechanical engineer from East Orange, N.J., and a collector of children's books and toys. His collection of paper dolls was exhibited at the Newark Museum--of which he was a trustee--in 1931 -- University of North Carolina, Charlotte Special Collections.
