Biographical History

The City and Suburban Railway Company was organized in 1882 to take over the franchises of the Savannah, Skidaway, and Seaboard Railway. It specialized in developing resort facilities at Thunderbolt, Montgomery, and Isle of Hope. Another railroad involved was the Coast Line Railroad Company.
