Biographical History

Austin Tappan Wright (1883-1931), Harvard Class of 1905, was a lawyer and law professor at the University of California and the University of Pennsylvania. In secret he wrote a lengthy utopian fantasy, Islandia, which was published posthumously in 1942 in a shortened version by Farrar & Rinehart.
