The KTAR radio station was originally established in Phoenix, Arizona in 1922 as KFAD, and was gained its current name in 1930. The station currently provides sports programming from ESPN to the Phoenix area. Since 2004 the station has been owned by Bonneville International Corporation.

Preston Westmoreland (b. 1947) is a radio talk show host in Arizona.

Preston Westmoreland is a former Marine trained in survival and an avid outdoorsman and pilot. He spent 36 years as a radio talk show host in Phoenix and won "The Marconi" Award for Best Large market radio personality in the United States. He interviewed over 27,000 news-makers and celebrities and was twice-nominated to the Radio Hall of Fame in Chicago.

David J. Whittaker (b. 1945) was a Mormon historian and bibliographer in Utah.

David J. Whittaker was born in 1945. He is a Mormon historian and bibliographer. He has authored or co-authored seven books and about fifty scholarly articles. Whittaker was the currator of Western and Mormon history manuscripts for the L. Tom Perry Special Collections Library of the Harold B. Lee Library. He was also a professor of history at Brigham Young University (BYU). He also worked with the Joseph Smith Papers Project.
