Biographical History

The South Wales and Monmouthshire Colliery Enginemen, Stokers and Craftsmen's Association was a small union which represented semi-skilled colliery workers. It was amalgamated into the South Wales Miners Federation (SWMF) in April 1913. From this date, all its members were represented by the Enginemen's, Stokers' and Craftsmen's section of the SWMF.
