Army officer.
Enoch Poor was a brigadier general for the Continental Army, 1777-1780. As a colonel, he commanded the 2nd New Hampshire Regiment in 1775, reinforced Benedict Arnold's retreating forces in Canada in 1776 and fought at Trenton and Princeton, 1776-1777.
