Biographical History

Williamson, a free-lance writer who worked on the editorial staffs of Houghton Mifflin and Daedalus, was a member of Female Liberation in Boston, Mass., and a founder of and frequent contributor to The Second Wave. She was also active in the anti-war and civil rights movements, taught writing, and worked as a psychotherapist. As part of her work with Second Wave, she became friends with Anaïs Nin.
