Biographical History
John Jay Osborn, Jr. took his undergraduate degree from Harvard College in 1967, and graduated from Harvard Law School in 1970. His 1971 bestselling novel, The Paper Chase , tells the story of Hart, a first-year student at Harvard Law School, and his infatuation with Professor Charles Kingsfield. The novel inspired a 1973 Hollywood movie and a television series of the same title. Osborn's other books include The Only Thing I've Done Wrong, The Associates, and The Man Who Owned New York.
