Sutton, S. B. (Silvia Barry), 1940-1997.

Stephanne (Silvia) Barry Sutton (1940-1997) served on the staff of the Arnold Arboretum from 1963-1974. She was the author of three books that focused on the Arboretum: Charles Sprague Sargent and the Arnold Arboretum, 1970; The Arnold Arboretum, the first century, 1971; and In China's border provinces, the turbulent career of Joseph Rock, botanist explorer, 1974. During here eleven year career at the Arboretum, Stephanne Sutton held several titles including Business Secretary, 1963-1964; Research Fellow, 1965-1967; Archivist, 1967-1969; and Honorary Research Fellow, 1970-1974.
