American violinist, pianist, and teacher.

Violinist and teacher.

Studied at the Leipzig Conservatory with Hans Becker (1900-1904) as well as with Eugene Ysaÿe and Jacques Thibaud. Concertmaster, Berlin Philharmonic (1914-1915) and San Francisco Symphony Orchestra (1915-1916). Member, Juilliard School string faculty, 1930-1966.
