Biographical History
In the early 1720's, the Abnaki Indians of northern New England, alarmed at the advance of colonial settlement, ignited what is known as Dummer's War. Although northern and eastern New England were most affected by the conflict, all the frontiers were threatened by guerrilla-style Indian attacks.
