Biographical History

Interviews with hemophiliac men were conducted by Laura Gray and Christine Harland Chamberlain in 2004 - 2007. Interviews were conducted by Laura Gray 2005 – 2007 with a selection of caregivers working with hemophiliac men during the period covered by The gift of experience oral history interviews. Gray conducted the interviews in preparation for her book on the oral history project, The gift of experience. The project was carried out under the auspices of the Boston Hemophilia Center, a federally-funded hemophilia treatment center that offers comprehensive care to people with hemophilia and their families. The Boston Hemophilia Center operates a pediatric site at Children's Hospital Boston and a program for adults at the Brigham and Women's Hospital, Boston.
