Thomas T. Taber, III, is a prolific writer on industrial subjects, chiefly in central and northern Pennsylvania.
Thomas T. Taber was an inspector for the New York Life Insurance Co. who came to Alaska on his honeymoon in 1928 and may have made return trips auditing for New York Life Ins.
Thomas Townsend Taber III was born in 1929, a son of Thomas Townsend Taber, Jr., (1899-1975). Both father and son authored numerous books about railroads in the United States, particularly those in Pennsylvania . Mr. Taber also produces research guides and indexes designed to help researchers find railroad resources in the United States .
