Biographical History

The Synod of Georgia was formed in 1845 by the division of the Synod of South Carolina and Georgia, PCUSA. It withdrew to the Presbyterian Church in the Confederate States of America in 1861 and continued in the Presbyterian Church in the U.S. until 1973.
