The Libbey-Owens-Ford Glass Company of Toledo, Ohio, was formed in 1930 by the merger of several older glassmaking firms. The company produced window glass, plate glass, and automobile safety glass at plants in Ohio and West Virginia.
Manufacturer of glass products based in Toledo Ohio since 1888. Incorporated and changed name to Toledo Glass in 1895. Formed Libbey-Owens Sheet Glass Company in 1916. Merged with Ford Plate Glass Company to become Libbey-Owens-Ford Glass Company in 1930. Became a subsidiary of the Pilkington Group of Great Britain in 1989.
Manufacturer of glass products based in Toledo, Ohio, operating since 1888 under successive names of Toledo Glass Company, Libbey-Owens Sheet Glass Company and Libbey-Owens-Ford Glass Company.
