Daniel Sinclair MacFarlane (1837-1914) was a 2nd lieutenant in the Cedar City platoon and adjutant to captain Joel White. He was mustered to Mountain Meadows in September 1857 and John D. Lee alleged that he was active in the Mountain Meadows Massacre. MacFarlane was included in an 1859 arrest warrant but never testified at the Lee trials.
Daniel S. MacFarlane (1837-1914) was a Mormon missionary and laborer in Cedar City, Utah. He served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to Scotland.
