BIOGHIST REQUIRED Artist, illustrator. Miss Underwood was born in Kalamazoo, Mich. and studied art in Chicago and in New York under Kenyon Cox and E.H. Blashfield. For more than 25 years she was an illustrator on the staff of the New York Sunday Sun, providing the illustrations for a regular two-page fashion spread, with text by Eleanor Hoyt Brainard.
