Aleksei Ivanovich Pliushkov (1897-1968) was a Russian writer, who worked as a lawyer in the Soviet Union, left Russia during the Second World War and became a teacher of Russian at Cambridge University
Writer who wrote under the pseudonyms Siverskiĭ and Ugri︠u︡mov. Pli︠u︡shkov emigrated from the Soviet Union in the 1930s. Most of his publications were in emigre periodicals, and he taught at Cambridge University in the 1950s and 1960s.
