Banker and businessman, of Litchfield, Conn.; town treasurer; active in the organization of the Litchfield County Farm Bureau; son of John Henry Hubbard, lawyer in Litchfield and U.S. Representative during the Civil War years, 1863-1865 and Abby Jane Wells Hubbard; graduate of Yale College in 1885; married Harriet A. Cooke and they had two daughters.
