Josephine Cecilia Diebitsch Peary (b. May 22, 1863, near Forestville, Maryland–d. December 19, 1955, Portland, Maine) was the daughter of Hermann Henry Diebitsch and Magdalena Augusta Schmid Diebitsch. She was an American author and arctic explorer. She was the wife of famed Arctic explorer Admiral Robert Edwin Peary.
