Biographical History

Victor King was a member of the Class of 1907 at Dartmouth College. He continued his studies at Columbia University and the University of Zurich where he received his doctorate. While at Zurich, he was a student of Albert Einstein. After working as a consultant for several years in New Jersey dealing with issues of air quality and air pollution, he joined the firm of Calco Chemical Company, later a part of American Cyanamid. During his career with this firm, he was involved in research on dyes and was instrumental in the development of aureomycin.
