Biographical History
Quaker historian and genealogist, of Swarthmore, Pa.
Young Mary Sullivan was named as a representative to the Delegation of American Young Friends to England and Germany by the General Conference in 1924. The invitation by Young Friends in Britain was in response to a visit by the latter to the United States the previous summer, but was coordinated to overlap the visit of young German Quakers. The party included thirteen young people from the General Conference, Philaedlphia Orthodox, Five Years Meeting, and Ohio Conservative, and the ages ranged from eighteen to thirty-five.
