Simon Balderstone was The Age representative at Parliament House, and later Senior Advisor to the Prime Minister on Aboriginal Affairs, the Environment and Sport from 1991 to 1995. In 1995 he became Public Affairs Manager of the Sydney Organising Committee for the Olympic Games (SOCOG).
