Biographical History

Missionary and business administrator; born Donald Arthur Cook on May 15, 1923; attended Wheaton College, 1941-1943; served as Air Force navigator in the Pacific during World War II, 1943-1946; returned to Wheaton College (1947) and graduated (1950); graduated from Faith Theological Seminary (1953); served in Japan with China Inland Mission (renamed Overseas Missionary Fellowship), 1957-1983, as an administrator, while his wife served as head of the mission home in Tokyo, 1959-1969; moved to Sapporo, 1969-1971, where Cook continued to serve in business administration and his wife was in charge of mission home; served as house parents for the mission's Chefoo School, 1971-1972; retired from mission work, 1983; married Dorothy True, 1950, and had two children.
