Biographical History

Lawyer. Worked on new debt acts. A Boer War veteran, and a witness to the driving of the last spike for the trans-Canada railway line. Author of several books on soil and water management that aimed to propose solutions to stop soil erosion in Western Canada during the 1930s. He died in Calgary in 1946.
