Elmer Perry Dodd (b. 1869) was a developer and irrigation advocate for the Umatilla area of Oregon.
Elmer Perry Dodd (b. 1869) was a developer and irrigation advocate for the Umatilla area of Oregon.
He was also known as the father of the McNary Dam. He was an editor, real estate broker, state legislator (1919-1920), Republican gubernatorial candidate (1934) founder of the Tri-State Development League (later Inland Empire Waterways Association) and a resident of Hermiston, Oregon.
