Biographical History
née Salvin Bowlby, daughter of Edward Salvin Bowlby (1830-1902) of Gilston Park and Knoydart and his second wife, Elizabeth, née Agnew (1854-1937). Katherine married, firstly (1908), Capt. James Boyle, 2nd surviving son of the 7th Earl of Glasgow. Boyle was killed in action on 18 Oct 1914. Katherine married Trenchard in 1920. Katherine's sister, Eva, married Roger (later 1st Baron) Keyes in 1906.
