Radio broadcaster and technician, missionary; born November 9, 1932; graduated from Houghton College, 1954; during an all night prayer/revival service, rededicated his life, 1952; served as chaplain's assistant in the US Army; worked as engineer (1959-1961) and producer (1961-1964) at radio station WMBI in Chicago (affiliated with Moody Bible Institute); served at radio station PRA7 under the World Gospel Crusades (WGC) in Brazil; following the bankruptcy of WGC, began an evangelistic team in Brazil and formed Brazilian Evangelistic Association; started a small recording studio in Sao Paulo, 1968; returned to the US to study for a master's degree at Wheaton College; married Mary F. Miller.
