Physician, public health officer, and head of the Fayetteville branch of the State Bank of North Carolina.
Benjamin Robinson (1775-1857) was born in Bennington, Vt., and settled in Fayetteville, N.C., about 1805. He was a physician and surgeon of the upper Cape Fear region. His son, Benjamin West Robinson, was also a physician.
