As of 2007, undergraduate communities include Arroyo Vista, Campus Village, Mesa Court, Middle Earth, and Vista del Campo. Graduate and family communities include Palo Verde, Verano Place, and Vista del Campo. UCI guarantees two years of housing to all freshmen who are single, under the age of 25, enrolled in the current term, and meet the housing application and contract-return deadlines. Undergraduate communities include special interest and theme halls. The Student Housing office also oversees one-hour walking tours of campus for prospective students.
