Horace Binney was a prominent Philadelphia lawyer, elected to Congress in 1833.
A leader in the Pennsylvania Bar, Binney was member of the Pennsylvania legislature from 1806-1807. From 1833-1835 he served in the U.S. House of Representatives as a member of the Whig party.
