Biographical History
The Alaska Humanities Forum, a nonprofit organization funded by the National Endowment for the Humanities, supports projects that promote dialogue between people in the humanities and Alaskans about public policy issues in order to examine alternate approaches to public policy decisions. The conference "Land: Bridge to the Community - A Literary Response" was sponsored by the Forum in 1973 to analyse land uses and policies and their effects on communities.
