Joanne Trautmann Banks was the American editor of the Virginia Woolf LETTERS. Dr. Banks knew Ms. Olsen in that capacity. They met in 1982 at a centennial celebration for Virginia Woolf in Morgantown, West Virginia. Ms. Olsen was the keynote speaker, and Dr. Banks spoke after lunch.
Per Seyersted was Professor of American Literature at the University of Oslo, 1968-1991.
