Biographical History

Author, pioneer woman journalist. She was the author of A woman in the West (1907), Town and trail (1908), and numerous newspaper columns for papers in the Edmonton area. She was a charter member of the Canadian Women's Press Club, which was organized in 1904. She was the wife of Arthur B. Watt, who was the editor of the Edmonton Journal from 1921 to 1945, and the mother of Frederick B. Watt, who was a bush pilot, reporter, civil servant, and author.
