Biographical History
Brigham C. Wright (1793-1862) married Urania Murray (1799-1880) in 1817. Their children who are prominent in this collection are: Norman (Sept. 29, 1826-Aug. 1, 1880); (Ethan) Murray (Aug. 10, 1818-Nov. 24, 1903); Louisa (1822-1903) who married Daniel Bowe; (Charles) Rolla (Feb. 17, 1825-Sept. 12, 1859); and George B. (June 20, 1835-April 28, 1882). Their daughters Eliza, Sarah (Sally), and Elsie, figure less prominently.
Norman married Ellen Jane Lyon in 1862 and their children were Ernest Norman (April 2, 1867-Aug. 19, 1900), Rolla Lyon (March 4, 1862-March 18, 1924), Clark A. (April 19, 1874-Sept. 3, 1962), Frederick Brigham (March 29, 1865-April 19, 1938), (John) Murray (Oct. 24, 1871-Nov. 19, 1954), and (George) Vernon Wright (Jan. 11, 1879-Dec. 15, 1956).
